Soundgarden have reformed.
That means there will be touring and Amplifier MUST support them.
Amplifier have the collective policy that no penis is too big to be sucked or complimented in order to make this happen.
We are telling you because somewhere out there are the people that can make this so.

Crikey! Doesn't time fly by? - It was a year ago that we were stepping foot into The Chapel to start recording The Octopus. Meanwhile - great swathes of it lie finished, while other areas remain untouched awaiting beating into glorious rock masterpieces by the fine touch of the master producer's fader...
So, we've put up loads of the record so far, to much enthusiastic response (which is always nice!).
We will keep you updated track by track as The Octopus draws to its completion.

So, September is here and rumours abound:
Firstly, contrary to the reportings of a well-respected german magazine, The Octopus IS NOT released this month...
Believe us - if it were, you would know all about it and we would be the happiest campers this side of happy-land...
However - there is still mucho work to be done...
In the meantime, there is yet another new track up for your attention...
You should bear in mind that this is still less than half of The Octopus.
When we say it's massive -
That's exactly what we mean...
Nothing less will do...
Secondly, contrary to the worried text messages we've been recieving saying: "We've heard you've split up !"
I'm afraid to say - we're still very much alive...
Honestly, after spending all this time getting The Octopus together and basically being at the top of our game, there's no way that we are not going to tour it...
So sleep peacefully...

Even as we speak, Amplifier are in the process of recording tracks for their next 2 albums.
Entitled "Mystoria" and "The Octopus", they will be done and dusted towards the end of the year.
When asked why they decided to record two albums at once, they replied that it was easier and less of a effort than having to concentrate on merely one.
The band are currently available for comment, but won't.

****It has come to our attention that there is a rumour of an AMPLIFIER show in Chatham. This is not true. Genuine shows will be put on the board as soon as they're confirmed by AMPLIFIER. Anything else, ignore. Well you can believe NME, Kerrang! etc but you know what we mean... If you speak to AMPLIFIER management by any means other than this board + it's email addresses please can you inform us, because it's very unlikely to have been a legit conversation.
SURPRISE GIG: HELMET have just asked AMPLIFIER to support them @ Bristol Academy this Sunday, 5th December.
